State of Research with Regard to Pupils with Behavioural Problems
Background and aims
Literature Analysis with Regard to the State of Research in the Area of Integrative and Separative Provisions for Pupils with Behavioural Problems
Canton Zurich's Department of Education is interested in obtaining a current overview of the existing research being carried out on the theme of separative versus integrative forms of schooling, facilitation and support for pupils with behavioural problems. A systematic literature analysis will be employed to discover which support, schooling and facilitation provisions exist in practice for pupils with behavioural problems. Particular focus is placed upon the question of how separative and integrative forms are comparable with regard to their effect.
Methods
A criteria-led literature search in all relevant electronic bibliographies to be carried out. The resulting titles to be chosen according to their relevance to the questions being investigated. The text corpus is expected to contain between 30 – 50 specialist articles. The chosen titles to be combined to form a thematic synopsis. The solution to the questions being investigated depends upon the interpretation of this synopsis.
